Join the Reeb Voting Rights Project and The DC League of Women Voters for a free watch party of The Last Battlefront, a one-hour documentary exploring the fight for self-government in Washington, D.C. through the stories and experiences of its residents. As questions of D.C. home rule and self-determination continue to make headlines, this film offers an opportunity to learn more about the history, stakes, and future of democracy in the District.
At All Souls Church Unitarian (1500 Harvard Street NW, Washington, D.C.), we will tune into WETA, our own Washington DC PBS station, which will be broadcasting the film on July 11th at 7pm. What we will have, that PBS can’t offer, is a discussion with special guests after the film and refreshments!
