Free DC will be hosting a screening of The Last Battlefront: Quest for the Vote in Washington, D.C., a one-hour documentary that looks at four turning points in DC history to understand DC’s lack of statehood.
The film will be followed by a guest conversation with one of the authors of Chocolate City: A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation’s Capital, George Derek Musgrove. Join Free DC from 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm for potluck and popcorn.
